GD-OTS Canada / Simunition

Non-Lethal Training Ammunition

Mission

To be recognized as the world leader for non-lethal, short-range training ammunition solutions and to provide the most realistic training systems possible so that officers, military forces and approved range members around the world can engage in experience building and ultimately lifesaving exercises.

History

In the late 1980s, General Dynamics-Ordnance and Tactical Systems-Canada Inc. (GD-OTS Canada), headquartered in Repentigny, recognized a growing need in the military and law enforcement communities for more realistic training. In response, two innovative training systems were developed under the trademark Simunition® – known as the world’s most realistic training system.

Philosophy

Realistic training can be the difference between life and death. By helping law enforcement officers, emergency response teams, military personnel and approved range members to improve their tactical skills and condition their response to fear, our non-lethal training ammunition ultimately saves lives.
